Dear Kansakar Ju,
Jwajalpa!
Kansakar Ju, many thanks for reading my new article and kindly writing a comment on my new article. It will certainly help we Newa: to deepen and broden our study on our language and culture.
I understand what you mean. Of course, our mother tongue borrowed lot of words from Khaskura which have Arabi and Persian origin. But I did not mention those words in this article but only few. The fact is, in Kathmandu ValleyCNewa have long historical connection with Muslims traders and artisans for example in building of Durbars and temples in Kathmandu Valley. We are living together with Newa Muslims in Kathmandu Valley and in Tibet since middle of Malla period. Muslims have learnt Nepal Bhasa to settle in Kathmandu Valley. It is unthinkable one way traffic in language learning. I do not think Muslims came in Kathmandu Valley after learning Nepal Bhasa in Kashmir or somewhere else in India during Malla period. In the process of learning Nepal Bhas from Newa, Muslim must have given to Newa some Arabi and Persian words in return. It is fact that Nepal Bhasa lacks abstract nouns. Earlier we have borrowed many from Sanskrit and later from Khaskura. Those words I have listed in this article, Newa people are using in Newa way but not in Khaskura way. In addition of that one more historical fact we must not forget. During the time of Mogul, Persian was official language in India. Mogul influence is found penetrated in Kathmandu Valley.
For these reasons, I guess, Nepal Bhasa had borrowed some Arbi and Persian words by some way or other from Muslim community before coming to contact with Khaskura.
