I was realy awakened by this article. Being myself Newar, I only knew about Newar through a Khas proverb \"Newar bigrinchha bhojle bahun naccha mojle\". Am I correct? Correct me if I am wrong.

Dear Reader Lumbini Shrestha Ju, Jwajalpa! First of all, let me give you thanks for your reading my article. The proverb you mentioned is created by not we Newars but by others. Newars spends as much they earn. For this reason, monetary economy was working only in Nepal valley until recently.It is very important historical fact Newars must not neglect. No other Rajyes had currency to use in market. Newar life style is deeply connected with economy. Another interesting point is that life style of Newars look luxurious in every angle to the others. This proverb is deeply rooted with feeling of jealousy. Bhoje represents food culture we Newars. Lumbini Ju, only we Newars do have high standard food culture. Except Newars no others know to enjoy food in our country in historical term. Food culture represents one part of culture of civilized soceity.
