June 1st 2008 Buddha Jayanti Celebrated in
Tokyo On 1st June 2008 Lord Buddha's
Birthday(Buddha Jayanti 2552)was celebrated at Gohyaku
Rakanji Temple, Shimo Meguro,Tokyo. more than 150
people gathered this ocassion and prayed togetherfor the

Program  Sports, Interaction and Party to
mark the 13th World IndigenousPeoples' Day.NIFJ observed
13th World Indigenous Peoplefs Day in Tokyo at its
Annual Kwati (tradition of eating mixed beans soup)
party with added sports events of swimming,
Bhutumali (kite) flying, Champati and Pandas games at
scenic island of Enoshima in the suburb of Tokyo.
The sports events were followed by an interaction
programme on new Nepal and party at Nepal Restaurant
