12th August 2007 'Kwati Punhi and World Indigenous Day' Program 
Sports, Interaction and Party to mark the 13th World IndigenousPeoples'
Day.NIFJ observed 13th
World Indigenous Peoplefs Day in Tokyo at its Annual Kwati (tradition of
eating mixed beans soup) party
with added sports events of swimming, Bhutumali (kite) flying, Champati
and Pandas games at scenic island
of Enoshima in the suburb of Tokyo. The sports events were followed by
an interaction programme on new
Nepal and party at Nepal Restaurant Anita at Sagami Ouno.

Buddha Jayanti Celebrated in Tokyo
On 3rd May 2007 Lord Buddha's Birthday(Buddha Jayanti 2551)was celebrated
at Joenji Buddhist Vihara,
Shinjyuku,Tokyo. 200 people gathered on this ocassion and prayed together
for the World Peace.
